Members present: Fr. Creighton Evans, Bill Hall, Mary Warner, Vicki Sheedy, Jerry Thompson, Holly Kirby, Bob Shingler, John Verger, and Gene Scarborough. Treasurer JoAnn Riley was also present.
Members absent: Chuck Reynolds, Senior Warden
Devotion: Fr. Creighton opened with prayer

Treasurer’s Report: JoAnn passed out her report and went over all items. Budget deficits were discussed. Bob asked if it was absolutely necessary to keep the ministry center as a separate billing account and JoAnn stated "yes." Gene made a motion, seconded by Bill to accept the treasurer’s report as reported.
Youth Ministry Report: Mary stated that tutoring had ended last week. She went on to say there had been some negative comments made by church members concerning the kids who were tutored at the youth center. She stated there are positives to be seen over there all the time and that it is much more than a babysitting service, as she has heard. An art camp is being planned for the first week of August. Bob stated that a new member is needed for the Youth Advisory Board.
Old Business:
Rectory Repairs – Bob reported the upstairs is completed except for the bathroom. Bill and Skip are going to do some more cleaning. The rest of the painting will be completed the week of May 24th and Fr. Tom has offered to help. Some more small repairs are needed, as well as possibly a refrigerator, washer and dryer.
Fundraisers: The television raffle has had 65-70 tickets sold. If 70 tickets are sold there will be a profit made of $700.00 plus dollars. The spaghetti dinner and soup supper made a profit of $329.00. A yard sale has been planned for October 8, 2011.
Bob thanked Mary for the job she has done as stewardship chairman with the fundraisers.
New Business:
Fr. Creighton stated that Chuck Reynolds has submitted his resignation from the vestry, effective May 30, 2011. He said a new vestry member to fill this position until the end of this year would need to be appointed. Bob Shingler stated that Chester Field and Jerry Dufresne had expressed interest in being on vestry. Chuck’s resignation was accepted with heavy hearts. Gene made a motion, seconded by John to have Chester Field fill the vacant vestry position until the end of the year.
Senior Warden: Vicki then nominated Bob Shingler, seconded by Mary to be the Senior Warden. Bob said he was willing to take the position. All approved.
Junior Warden – A new junior warden then needed to be nominated. Chester has experience at this from his term before. Holly, seconded by John, made a motion that Chester be elected as new junior warden. All approved. Joann then stated signature cards need to be changed at the bank.
Committee Reports: None given
Adjournment: We closed by praying the Lord ’s Prayer and adjourned at approximately 8: 30 pm.
Respectfully Submitted,
Vicki Sheedy, Clerk
